Welcome to the futurism community.

I am Olivia Dewi Cinta Higgins, a Singaporean-Australian TV journalist and researcher (academia) in Finance and Technology and I’ve lived in Madrid, Los Angeles and Sydney.

A core value of mine: Always lead with knowledge and enter action with boldness.

My international background has always been my strength in helping me easily adapt, adopt and grow. I am a fast-learner who thrives in a dynamic and enterprising environment. I love people– there are unending possibilities in how much you can learn and connect with every individual or new situation.

From my personal travel to work adventures– I do anything and I go anywhere that enriches my heart and mind.

My love for technology and finance runs deep. As a child, I remember vividly how my dad explained the wonders and magnetism of Microsoft through simple demonstration of PC windows software or troubleshooting when I played my jumpstart games and fixed errors. Growing up, I was drawn to understanding the power of Microsoft and how it interplayed with the global economy.

Most people describe me in these three words: Analytical, Unique, Charismatic. Although these are my characteristics, I believe in constantly enriching and building myself to contribute to the world with my strengths, talents and to turn the weaknesses into possibilities.

I chose tech journalism, gaming, futurism, robotics and Artificial Intelligence (AI) because it embodies who I am and was what I grew up with. I will travel as far as I can or anywhere to feed this adventurous, truth-seeking and ever-growing spirit of mine to use knowledge to inform, engage and… empower.
